Heavy calcium is better for tensile strength, and the processing fluidity of heavy calcium plastic is better, and the performance of heavy calcium filled plastic with smaller particle size is also better;

Light calcium is better for impact strength and rigidity. Generally, the surface of plastic with light calcium is smoother and the density is lower.

③Shade controllability

For heavy calcium, the background color of calcium carbonate from different origins is different, and the crushing and refinement will not change. For example, the background color of calcium carbonate in Sichuan is blue, the background color of calcium carbonate in Guangxi is red, and the background color of calcium carbonate in Jiangxi is blue. etc;

As for light calcium, the type of crystalline form can be controlled during the synthesis process, and then the type of its shade can be controlled. In the specific color matching, the shade of calcium carbonate should be consistent with the hue of the main colorant.

④pH value

The pH of heavy calcium is 8-9;

Light calcium has a pH of 9-10.
 

⑤Comparison of mineral economics

Powder preparation cost: the conventional cost is equivalent and at the same competitive level, but if additional environmental control costs and resource waste rate are added, the expansion cost of light calcium is higher than that of heavy calcium;

Environmental balance: In addition to noise, heavy calcium production has no "three wastes" emissions, and the environment is easy to coordinate and control; light calcium production emits "three wastes", especially combustion exhaust gas, and the overall environmental balance is low;

Resource utilization rate: heavy calcium is easy to comprehensively utilize mineral resources, and light calcium is not easy to control the reasonable utilization rate of mineral resources.

Heavy calcium: mainly used in papermaking, rubber and plastic industries, the filling amount is generally large, and it is mainly used as a volume filler to reduce the manufacturing cost of applied products;

Light calcium: Relatively wide application fields, the main application fields are plastics, rubber, coatings, adhesives, cigarette paper, ink, etc., mainly for volume filling, and nano calcium carbonate products are often used as modification or reinforcement in the application process And other functional fillers are used, and the filling amount is generally less.
