Whether it's an engineering project or home decoration, the floor covers the most area in a building. Its environmental performance is particularly important, which is related to the safety and health of users. However, the "ventilation period" of different floors is different. We will share here the factors that affect the move-in time and the recommended ventilation time of different floors.

We will share here the "ventilation period" of some common floors. Affected by many factors such as the environment, the "ventilation period" is for reference only.

"Ventilation period" of solid wood flooring

Keel installation: If you use solid wood flooring with water-based paint, ventilate it for 7-10 days in summer. In winter, ventilate for more than 15 days.

If you use solvent-based paint during installation, it is best to leave the area empty for 1 month. You can move in after it passes professional testing. This may be more beneficial to the health of users.

Composite wood flooring:

E1-grade composite flooring should be ventilated for at least 15 days. However, it is better to ventilate it for over 3 months to ensure safety. The first 3 months are the peak period of formaldehyde release, and ventilation should be maintained for more than 12 hours per day.

If there are pregnant women, infants, or other groups among the users, it is best to ventilate for at least 6 months. Also, passing professional testing before moving in is recommended.

Tile floor:

Conventional tiles usually dry on the surface in 24 hours. The bottom layer takes 48 to 72 hours to cure completely. Generally, experts recommend ventilating the whole for 3-5 days before acceptance.

In winter or humid environments, you should extend it to 7-10 days. Tile floor also needs a "ventilation period", which is shorter than that of solid wood floor and composite wood floor.

The floors we introduced above are all floors that require a "ventilation period". However, many factors such as weather and ventilation time may often affect reality. The above "ventilation period" serves only as a reference, and you should combine the specific ventilation time with reality.

Does the flooring that you can use immediately after installation serve as merely a marketing gimmick?

We are a floor manufacturer with extensive production and research experience. We can assure you that this is not a gimmick.

We currently produce different types of floor products and floors with different types of installation methods. We can assure you with full confidence that the flooring is ready for immediate use upon installation.

For example, you can easily move in SPC flooring as soon as you lay it.

What reasons allow people to move into SPC flooring as soon as they lay it?

The reality of moving in as soon as someone lays it is not just a verbal statement. Instead, it absolutely needs to meet the standard of moving in as soon as someone lays it. Next, we will analyze why you can move into your SPC flooring as soon as you lay it. Mainly, it is divided into the following three aspects:

1. Raw materials for production

For more than ten years, we have always insisted on selecting high-quality raw materials to produce floors. We focus on the production of 100% virgin material. Raw materials play an important role in the quality of flooring.

Some manufacturers may choose some recycled materials for production, which may have extremely bad safety hazards. Some manufacturers even dare to use "NEW Material" instead of "Virgin Material". HAOIDBAN brand reminds all buyers to pay attention to the distinction to avoid deception.

2. Floor production process

We do not deny that SPC flooring is also a kind of composite flooring. SPC flooring consists of a multi-layer floor structure. However, compared with other floors such as solid wood composite flooring, SPC flooring does not use glue to bond.

This greatly reduces the harm that formaldehyde may cause. Manufacturers create SPC flooring using a high-temperature bonding process. This process helps reduce the formaldehyde problem from adhesives.

3. Floor installation method

SPC flooring uses a lock method to splice and install the floor. You do not need any adhesives such as glue during the installation process. This can minimize the formaldehyde problem caused by adhesives. - Unlike carpets and other types of flooring, this option does not require glue or adhesives for installation.

- This makes it a better choice for improving air quality during setup.

Returning to our original inquiry: What is the recommended waiting period before walking on newly installed flooring? Floors of different materials have different requirements for ventilation time. Different installation methods of the same floor also have different requirements for ventilation time. But we can sincerely tell you: you can lay and move in our high-quality SPC flooring.
