The whole process of PVC is Poly-vinyl Chloride. At present, several common names are PVC/LVT/LVP/WPC/SPC/Vinyl floor/vinyl plank.

Plastic floor is actually another name for PVC flooring. The main component of plastic floor is polyvinyl chloride material. PVC floor originated in Europe and the United States, and is very popular in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific region. SPC flooring and WPC flooring will also become more and more popular.

Types of Plastic Flooring

At present, there are two kinds of PVC sheet flooring.

One is a homogeneous and transparent flooring with the same pattern material from the bottom to the top. If the surface is burnt or scratched, it can be repaired by waxing with a sander.

The other is a composite type in which the top layer is a pure PVC transparent layer and then a printing layer and a foam layer are added below. It can be seen that the transparent material of the same quality is much better than the composite type.

The shape of plastic floor

Plastic floor is divided into coil floor and sheet floor.

LVT flooring and WPC flooring are semi-rigid wood plastic floors, while SPC (RVP) floors are hard wood floors. At present, LVT flooring is mainly divided into three installation types: vinyl locking, dry back, and loose lay.

If you want to look at it from another angle, PVC flooring can be divided into: ordinary (Dry Back) lock (click) and glue-free (Loose lay) according to the assembly method.

In addition, WPC plastic flooring and SPC plastic flooring are also in the active promotion and high-speed development stage in domestic and foreign markets.

Composition of PVC Flooring

PVC resin powder, stone powder, stabilizer, carbon black, the main components are polyvinyl chloride and stone powder.

Polyvinyl chloride is an environmentally friendly and non-toxic renewable resource. It has been widely used in people's daily life, such as tableware, medical infusion tube bags, etc. Its environmental protection should not be overly concerned.

The main component of stone plastic floor (sheet) is natural stone powder, which does not contain any radioactive elements after testing by the national authoritative department, and is a new type of green and environmentally friendly floor decoration material. Almost all qualified PVC floors need to pass IS09000 international quality system certification and ISO14001 international green environmental protection certification.

The plastic floor is composed of a backing layer, a core layer, a glass fiber, a decorative paper and a wear layer from the bottom to the top.
