The past and present of WPC flooring
LVT floor is the first generation product of WPC floor.
As the first generation product of WPC floor, LVT floor can gain insight into the difference between the past and present life of WPC floor through the comparison of LVT floor and WPC floor.

Although LVT is the first-generation product of WPC, there are certain differences in material, use and thickness between the two. After all, everything is in the process of never-ending movement, change and development.
(1) Material
In terms of material, both of them use polyvinyl chloride as a raw material, but the main material of LVT is more polyvinyl chloride + a small amount of calcium carbonate powder, which is a semi-rigid sheet floor; and the main material of WPC is PVC + wood flour, like LVT floor, is also a semi-rigid sheet floor , but there differences in the raw materials.
(2) Purpose
In terms of use, there are differences in the scope of application of the two. LVT is mainly used in schools, kindergartens, playgrounds, offices and other indoor places; some WPC can be used outdoors, and a small amount will be used indoors. This is not only LVT flooring Different from WPC floor, this is also the difference between WPC floor and PVC floor and SPC floor.


(3) Thickness
In terms of thickness, WPC floors are also different from their original LVT floors. For LVT floors, the thickness is generally not more than 5MM, while the thickness of WPC floors can be more than 8MM.


In addition, WPC combines the water resistance and stability of LVT, and at the same time, it is easy to install like a laminate floor, and with the addition of soft and EVA pads, the foot feel and sound insulation effect will be better than LVT's lock floor; WPC floors are made of all environmentally friendly materials, which are more environmentally friendly than laminate floors.
